Our team
Ian Atkinson-Baker, EA
Lead accountant and IRS Enrolled Agent — construction and trades specialist for Florida firms doing $1M–$5M.
About Ian
Construction Accounting, Federal Tax, and IRS Representation
Every engagement runs through Ian personally — the books, the monthly walkthrough, and the tax return.
Ian grew up in and around a family business, where he saw firsthand how much good financial records and steady cash flow decide whether a small company thrives or fails. He holds a bachelor's degree in accounting and is pursuing his CPA license.
As an IRS Enrolled Agent, Ian is federally authorized to represent clients before the IRS — the same tier of practice rights CPAs and attorneys hold in tax matters. Before founding Strategic Accounting (formerly Lucrative Bookkeeping), he worked directly with trades and construction owners on job costing, cash flow, sales tax, and federal filings. That experience shapes how the firm structures its books, reports, and tax work.
Ian handles every engagement personally. The books, the monthly walkthroughs, and the tax return sit with him from day one — so nothing falls between the ledger and the return.
