Who this is for

Florida Construction & Trade Businesses

Construction accounting isn't generic. Job costing, Florida sales tax, and contractor deductions each need dedicated attention — here's where we specialize.

  • Construction firms & general contractors — residential, commercial, or mixed.
  • HVAC businesses — install, repair, service, and replacement contractors.
  • Plumbing contractors — service, new construction, and remodel specialists.
  • Roofing contractors — residential, commercial, and storm-restoration.
  • Specialty trades — electrical, concrete, drywall, painting, flooring, and more.
  • Florida-based, doing roughly $1M–$5M in annual revenue.

Questions

Common Questions

Is it really free?

Yes. No catch, no fee, no credit card. It's 30 minutes of Ian's time to hear what you're running and tell you whether we're a good fit. If we're not, we'll say so — and where possible, point you somewhere better.

Do I need to prepare anything?

No. Come as you are. It helps if you can roughly describe your business size, entity type, and what's currently broken (or working) in your accounting — but we'll walk you through it if you're not sure.

Who will I actually talk to?

Ian Atkinson-Baker — our lead accountant and IRS Enrolled Agent. Not a salesperson, not an outsourced scheduler, not an SDR. The person who'd actually handle your engagement if you became a client.

What if I only need help with tax?

That works too. Ian handles federal and Florida tax preparation and planning as a standalone engagement, not just as part of a books-plus-tax package. Book the call and tell him what you need.

What if I'm not in Florida?

We focus primarily on Florida-based construction firms and trades because the combination of Florida sales tax rules, construction-specific bookkeeping, and our in-state presence is where we go deepest. If you're out of state, book anyway — we'll tell you honestly whether we're the right team for your situation.

What happens after the call?

If we're a good fit, we'll propose a flat-rate monthly package tailored to your business and send a written scope within one business day. If we're not, we'll say so on the call — no follow-up drip, no pressure.
